There is a restaurant in town where they list all of their accolades on the first page. Its as long as the menu itself. Consesus in the biz is that they're just showing off, but the restaurant is full every night... seats occupied by weak palated diners who need to be told that they're eating the best food they can get. It reminds me that the customer is usually wrong-that their desire for quirky requests can be nullified with simple intimidation. Suckers.
